Fragments
Fragments

Fragments, often called Frags, are one of the game's three main currencies, alongside Money and Valor. They are used almost exclusively in the Second Sea and Third Sea, where they unlock many advanced progression systems that cannot be purchased with regular Money.
Unlike Money, Fragments are mainly spent on special upgrades and unique content, such as awakening Blox Fruits and obtaining exclusive items. Because of this, they become increasingly important as players reach the mid and late game.
Fragments are intentionally harder to earn than other currencies. Most sources require participating in specific activities rather than normal level grinding, and rewards are usually given in smaller amounts. Building a large Fragment supply often means repeatedly completing endgame content instead of simply defeating enemies or finishing quests.
