First Sea is the starter sea in Blox Fruits and the first major region players experience when joining the game for the first time. It is where all players begin their journey and progress through the early stages of leveling, quests, and exploration.

Overview:

When players first start the game, they spawn in the First Sea on either Marine Starter or Pirate Starter, depending on whether they choose the Marines or Pirates team from the home screen.

Both starter islands include basic signs and tutorials that teach new players core mechanics such as movement, dashing, and sprinting keybinds. They also feature weak beginner enemies, allowing players to safely learn the game’s combat system and leveling mechanics.

The First Sea is generally considered the easiest sea in Blox Fruits. Enemies are relatively weak, and bounty/honor hunting is uncommon, making the sea much less dangerous than later regions. One notable exception is Magma Village, which can be challenging for Elemental fruit users, since enemies there have a chance to spawn with Aura, allowing them to bypass Elemental immunity. Additionally, players need to purchase or unlock very few essential items in the First Sea, making resource management simple for beginners.

Since the First Sea was developed during the early stages of the game and has received relatively few major overhauls, its overall design is fairly basic, though still polished. Buildings tend to be blockier with simple or empty interiors, and many enemies use older versions of Blox Fruits, swords, and guns. However, this simpler design also has an advantage the less demanding graphics allow the game to run much more smoothly here compared to the later seas.
