Enemies
Enemies, also known as NPCs, are hostile characters found throughout Blox Fruits, usually grouped in specific areas and attacking players when provoked. Defeating them is required for most quests, making them a major part of leveling and progression. Their combat styles vary, with some using Aura, Blox Fruits, fighting styles, swords, guns, or other abilities. Defeated enemies may also reward
Money,
Fragments, and materials, which can be used for progression, upgrades, and crafting.
Types of Enemies:
Basic:
Basic Enemies are common enemies found across most islands, usually in small groups near a quest giver. They mainly provide EXP and Money, although most of the useful EXP comes from their associated quests. They attack when approached or hit and may chase players for a limited distance or time. Players using Elemental Blox Fruits can gain immunity against certain enemies after reaching the required level, while Blade users can gain similar protection from sword-wielding enemies. These immunities do not work against enemies using Aura.
Bosses:
Bosses are powerful enemies found in specific locations, often in larger or restricted areas. They have much higher health, stronger attacks, and better rewards than Basic Enemies, but usually have long respawn times and may require certain conditions to access. Bosses also bypass Elemental and Blade immunities, allowing them to damage players regardless of those protections. Their rewards commonly include Accessories and Swords, while some can also drop Guns or Materials, with rewards ranging from guaranteed drops to chance-based items.
