Sea Danger Level
Sea Danger Level

Sea Dangers are special ocean zones located far beyond the main islands in the Third Sea. As players sail away from land, large rocks begin to appear, marking the start of increasingly dangerous waters. Continuing farther leads into higher Sea Danger Levels, where more challenging encounters and hazards can occur.
Tips & Tricks:
The heavy mist in Sea Danger Level 6 can be partially reduced by using the Kitsune Mask, making it easier to navigate. Since enemies become stronger with each Danger Level, reaching at least Level 2500 is recommended before exploring the higher zones. Strong defensive or high-damage builds perform best in Sea Dangers. Awakened Magma, Awakened Dough, Awakened Buddha, T-Rex, and Mammoth are all effective choices. Players using Mammoth or T-Rex should also consider the Shark race or the Leviathan Shield to reduce the risk of taking sea damage. Flying is not always safe, as enemies such as the Terrorshark can pull players back into the water. If searching for Mirage Island, it is generally best to do so in Sea Danger Levels 4 to 5, since the vision distortion in Level 6 can combine with Mirage Island's dark visual effect and greatly reduce visibility, especially at night.
Additional Information:
• If the Frozen Dimension spawns before the Leviathan encounter is triggered, Sea Danger Level 6 remains clear instead of being covered by its usual mist.
• In Nerd's dialogue, Sea Danger Level 6 is referred to as "The Dark Sea" when the player interacts with him while wearing the Kitsune Mask.
• A patched bug allowed rare Sea Events, including Frozen Dimension and Prehistoric Island, to spawn at any Sea Danger Level if 10 to 12 players were on the same boat.
• A patched bug caused players to be briefly flung after equipping the Leviathan Shield or Kitsune Ribbon after another accessory. If this happened while seated in a boat, it could also change the boat's direction.
List of Danger Levels
There are Seven Sea Danger Levels, ranging from Level 0 to Level 6, which can be tracked using the Compass while sailing. As the Danger Level increases, Sea Events become more frequent, new events begin to appear, and existing encounters become significantly more difficult.
Sea Danger Level 0 is the safest Sea Danger zone, with only a small chance of basic sea threats and rare events.
Treasure Island can spawn, containing Gold, Diamond, and Fragment Chests.
Sharks may appear, while natural Sea Beasts have an extremely low spawn chance.
Mirage Island can spawn, but its chance is very low at Sea Danger Levels 0 to 3.
