Crew
PurposeAutomatically ally with players in the same crew | Checking the player's exact bounty | Obtaining the titles The Most Wanted and Pirate King

The Crew system lets players form groups and track their progress together. It is designed for players who regularly play as a team, making it easier to share a common identity and build a collective reputation. Players must reach Level 300 before they can create their own Crew. After creating one, the Crew's name and its combined total Bounty are displayed, allowing members to monitor their group's overall achievements as they continue playing together.

Mechanics:

Crews can be customized with both a name and a custom icon. Players can upload an image to Roblox, then paste its asset ID into the Crew Icon Editor to use it as their crew emblem. A Crew can hold up to 15 members by default, with the capacity increasing to 30 members after purchasing additional member slots. Each extra slot costs 2,000 Fragments, for a total of 30,000 Fragments to unlock all 15 additional slots. There is no level requirement to join a Crew, so players below Level 300 can become members as long as they receive an invitation. Crew members are also automatically allied with one another whenever they are in the same server.

Inviting/Kicking Players:
Only the Crew Captain can invite or remove members through the Crew menu. To invite a player, the Captain enters the player's username into the search box and selects Invite. Invitations can only be sent to players who are Pirates, are in the same server, and are not already in another Crew. If the invitation is successful, the game displays the message " has been invited."

If an invitation fails, one of several error messages will appear:

  • ERROR: Player not found: The player is not in the same server or the entered username is incorrect.

  • ERROR: Player is already in a Crew: The player already belongs to another Crew.

  • ERROR: Player is already in your Crew: The player is already a member of your Crew.

To remove a member, the Crew Captain enters the player's username in the same search box and selects Kick. If the player is not a member of the Crew or the username is entered incorrectly, the game displays ERROR: Member not found.

Adding a Logo to Your Crew:

To add a Crew logo, open Develop → Creator Marketplace → Images and find the image you want to use. Copy its Image ID, then go to roblox.com/library/ by replacing Image ID with the copied number. Open the page, copy the resulting URL, and paste it into the Crew Icon field in the Crew creation or editing menu to set it as your Crew's logo.

Crew Interface:

The Crew interface displays key information about the Crew and its members. It shows the Captain's name, the Crew's total combined Bounty, the current member count out of the maximum 15 to 30 slots, and a list of every member with their username, level, and Bounty. Although Bounty is shown with a $ symbol, it represents Bounty, not in-game money. Members are also listed in ascending order of Bounty. The interface also includes the global Crew leaderboard, which displays the top 100 Crews ranked by total Bounty. Crews with the same total Bounty share the same leaderboard position. Crew Captains have access to additional controls, including the Invite/Kick search box for managing members and the option to abandon the Crew.

Additional Information:
• Players below Level 300 can still join an existing Crew even though they cannot create one.

• If a player switches from Marine to Pirate, the Crew button may not appear due to a bug. Rejoining the game fixes the issue.

• Owning one of the top 100 Pirate Crews awards the "The Most Wanted" title (#155).

• Holding a place in the top 10 Pirate Crews for a total of 72 hours awards the "Pirate King" title (#156).

• Under normal game limits, the highest possible Crew Bounty is 900,000,000, achieved with 30 members, each having the maximum 30,000,000 Bounty.

• The "Pirate King" title is currently almost impossible to obtain because a glitch allows some Crews to exceed the normal 30-member limit, pushing their total Bounty above 1,000,000,000.
