Ship Raid
Ship Raid

The Ship Raid is a sea-based combat event that can occur while sailing in the Second Sea and Third Sea. It triggers randomly as players travel across open water in a boat, spawning hostile Brigade ships that immediately engage the player. In some encounters, a stronger variant called the Grand Brigade can appear, increasing the pressure of the fight by continuously bombarding the player’s ship with constant cannon fire.
These ships are designed to force naval combat and can overwhelm unprepared players by focusing fire on the boat itself. The event ends when the hostile ships are either sunk or successfully destroy the player’s vessel, or if they drift far enough away and despawn. Players can counter them by using their own ship cannons or relying on AoE abilities that can hit multiple targets at once, making strong ranged and area damage options especially effective for handling the encounter quickly.
Drops:
In the Second Sea, defeating a Brigade ship grants 50 Fragments per ship, while the Grand Brigade rewards 75 Fragments. The Grand Brigade does not always appear, and it may fail to spawn if the player’s boat is too large, such as using a Lantern ship. When it does appear, it can also drop additional rewards, including a random Blox Fruit, and 3 Fool’s Gold if the player has already reached the Third Sea.
In the Third Sea, rewards scale up significantly. Each Brigade ship gives 75 Fragments, while the Grand Brigade grants 100 Fragments along with 3 Fool’s Gold and 167 Valor (up to a total of 501 Valor). Similar to the Second Sea, the Grand Brigade can also drop a random Blox Fruit, making it the most valuable target in the event.
