Ghoul
The Ghoul race is one of the few quest-obtained races and is built around lifesteal, cooldown pressure, and night-based mobility, making it highly effective in PvP and sustained fights. It boosts regeneration and gains extra speed during the night while allowing the player to heal by dealing damage, which makes it strong for aggressive playstyles that rely on constant engagement rather than defense. While it lacks strong natural armor, Ghoul makes up for it with powerful healing mechanics that scale heavily in combat, especially in V4 where it becomes a dominant close-range sustain race.

Strengths & Weaknesses
A quick breakdown of where this build shines and struggles.
Strengths
General
Strong hybrid race with a mix of multiple roles: regeneration (Angel-like), speed (Rabbit-like at night), durability (Shark/Cyborg-like), and damage (Human/Cyborg-like).
Fast health regeneration and solid nighttime speed boost (still below Rabbit).
Flexible and can switch races freely without cost.
Excellent synergy with Buddha and life-leech builds like Sanguine Art.
Cooldown reset mechanic for moves under 40% cooldown when awakening.
Very strong for players who want an all-rounder PvP/PvE race.
Heightened Senses (V3)
Reduces cooldowns by ~40%, enabling heavy spam and fast resets.
Provides balanced buffs: damage, speed, and defense.
Useful for clutch recoveries and momentum swings.
Duration: 8 seconds, making it impactful in short fights.
Blood Siphon (V4)
Life leech applies to all damage sources.
Excellent sustain in prolonged fights and boss battles.
Very strong in PvE and raids, especially with Buddha builds.
Highly effective in multi-target PvP situations.
Domain Expansion (V4)
Strong cooldown reduction + speed buffs (daytime scaling can rival Rabbit setups with accessories).
Reduces enemy healing drastically, nearly negating regen.
Dash-based damage allows consistent pressure in close-range fights.
Crows drain Instinct, enabling combo confirmation.
Can hit sky campers within height limits.
Excellent pressure tool in 1v1 and team fights.
Weaknesses
General
Night bonuses are disabled during daytime unless Domain Expansion (V4) is active.
Life leech only works with Fighting Styles, limiting build diversity.
Reduced efficiency on NPCs (heals 5x less).
Obtaining the race is more grind-heavy due to RNG-based requirements (e.g., Hellfire Torch drop).
Heightened Senses (V3)
Weak defensive value compared to modern tank abilities.
Blood Siphon (V4)
Life leech is inconsistent and may heal for low amounts depending on damage output.
Domain Expansion (V4)
Weak against long-range or kiting playstyles.
Requires sustained close-range dashing to maximize damage.
Visual/dark effects may interfere with teammates’ visibility and coordination.
Verdict
A highly versatile late-game race built around cooldown reduction, sustain, and pressure-based combat. It excels in prolonged PvP, raids, and Buddha-style fighting builds, but struggles against long-range zoning and requires consistent close-range aggression to fully unlock its potential.
