Buddha Fruit (formerly Human Buddha) is a Legendary Beast fruit whose Z, Transform, turns you into a golden giant with strong area moves. Built for farming and close sword or melee work, with 35% less damage taken while transformed.

What moves does Buddha Fruit have?
Divine Aura gives your melee and sword tap attacks 5x range while transformed, or 8x once awakened, so Z, Transform, comes first in every fight.

Easy: Blast, leap, explode
Keys: Transform (Buddha Z) > Impact (Buddha X) > (look down) > Buddha Leap (Buddha C) > Buddha Explosion (Buddha V).
Needs: 200 mastery (V).
Tip: Look down after Impact X, then chain Buddha Leap C and Buddha Explosion V; together they cost 25, 35 and 50 energy.
Easy: Instinct break, grab, beam
Keys: Awakened: Shift (Buddha Z) > Skull Guitar X > Retribution Dash (Buddha F) > Electric Claw C > Twilight of the Gods (Buddha V) > Light of Annihilation (Buddha C).
Needs: Skull Guitar, Electric Claw; 200 mastery (V); awakened Buddha.
Tip: Skull Guitar X breaks Instinct first, since Retribution Dash F does not, and F then needs 15 s to come back, so land it.
Easy to medium: Stun, beam, golden barrage
Keys: Awakened: Shift (Buddha Z) > Skull Guitar X > Fox Lamp Z > Light of Annihilation (Buddha C) > Godhuman X, tapped > Godhuman C, tapped > Heavenly Impact (Buddha X) > Twilight of the Gods (Buddha V).
Needs: Skull Guitar, Fox Lamp, Godhuman; 200 mastery (V); awakened Buddha; Cyborg V3 helps.
Tip: Fox Lamp Z stuns, so open Light of Annihilation C right after it lands, then end on the Twilight of the Gods beams.
Medium: Setup, transform, explosion
Keys: Electric Claw C > Electric Claw Z > Yama X > Acidum Rifle Z > Transform (Buddha Z) > Buddha Explosion (Buddha V).
Needs: Electric Claw, Yama, Acidum Rifle; 200 mastery (V).
Tip: Cast Transform Z after Acidum Rifle Z, as it is nearly instant; a quick target can dodge Buddha Explosion V, so expect no one-shot.
Medium: Melee chain, explosion, leap
Keys: Sharkman Karate X > Sharkman Karate Z > Sharkman Karate C > Spikey Trident X > Venom Bow X > Transform (Buddha Z) > Buddha Explosion (Buddha V) > Buddha Leap (Buddha C).
Needs: Sharkman Karate, Spikey Trident, Venom Bow; 200 mastery (V).
Tip: Do every Sharkman Karate, Spikey Trident and Venom Bow move untransformed, then press Transform Z; it is a one-shot only if every move lands.
Buddha Fruit's strengths and weaknesses
Strengths
General
Impact X and Buddha Explosion V both rate as good damage with a decent area.
Buddha Leap C is the mobility move: it travels very high and very far, over water too.
Awakened
Light of Annihilation C pierces several enemies, and Twilight of the Gods covers an extremely big area.
Buddha Fruit can cross water safely once awakened, and most awakened moves break Instinct.
Weaknesses
General
Z, Transform (Shift once awakened) must be active before any other Buddha move, and none of the unawakened moves can be held.
Transform Z enlarges your hitbox, so enemies hit you more easily.
Awakened
Lacks a mobility move of its own: Light of Annihilation C, the awakened C, is a beam, not a leap, though the unawakened Buddha Leap C still works once you are awakened.
Awakened Z, Shift, is slow to finish and ends with high endlag and only a low stun.
Verdict
Pick it to farm and fight NPCs up close, where Divine Aura trims the damage you take. Skip it if you will not awaken it, since Light of Annihilation C, its long-range beam, only comes with awakening.

How do you get Buddha Fruit?
Physical fruit (Blox Fruit Dealer): 1200000 Beli or 1650 Robux, only while Buddha Fruit is in stock; it restocks every 4 hours. If you eat or buy another fruit, a Beli-bought one is replaced and lost. Live stock: our Blox Fruits stock page.
Permanent Buddha: 1650 Robux, yours to keep: the Dealer sells it even when the fruit is out of stock, and the Shop menu switches you back to it after you eat another fruit.
Trading: Trade at the Cafe (Second Sea) or the Mansion (Third Sea); a Permanent fruit must be in your Inventory first, which gifting it to yourself does.
Codes: No code gives Buddha Fruit or any other fruit; working codes pay stat resets, titles, Beli or a timed 2x experience boost.
How do you awaken Buddha Fruit?
To awaken, finish a Raid holding Buddha Fruit. You can join a Raid from level 700, but hosting one needs level 1,100: only then does the Mysterious Scientist sell the Microchip that starts it, for Beli or any physical fruit, so below that you join a Raid someone else hosts. A win pays 300 to 1,000 Fragments, more for a faster clear, and lands you in the awakening room, under Kingdom of Rose (Second Sea) or Floating Turtle (Third Sea), where each awakened move is a separate Fragment purchase, with every price in the Awakened tab above.
Awakening turns Z, X, C and V golden and adds Retribution Dash F. A move bought early cannot be used until your mastery reaches the level it asks for; the last, Twilight of the Gods, needs 200.
Awakening your first move earns the "Colossal God" title.

What changed in Buddha Fruit's updates?
Buddha Fruit first shipped with Update 1, on Jan 16, 2019. Last change: Update 28 (Oct 31, 2025).
- A bug in how Buddha Fruit and Skull Guitar work together was fixed.
- Transformed air jump rose to about 1.5x the untransformed jump, a range buff was cut back and the icon was remade.
- The Buddha Fruit model was remade.
- Human Buddha became Buddha, and its awakened moves were buffed to deal more damage.
- Transformed sword and melee M1s were nerfed, and Human Buddha users lose 27.5% of M1 damage in PvP only.
- The unawakened X, Impact, was reworked.
- Human Buddha received its awakening.
- Human Buddha was released.
Is Buddha Fruit good?
PvP: Poor in the Bounty system, since many players stand still while a Buddha Fruit user hits them and lose no bounty. Use Swords or Fighting Styles when you enter PvP.
Sea Events: Mixed, since awakened Buddha is on the recommended Leviathan group list and its transformed hitbox above water helps, but against Sea Beasts skip it unless your weapon or style moves deal high damage.
Raids and bosses: Mixed, since its extended range works as constant area damage on crowds and Fox Lamp adds stun in dungeons, yet Buddha Raids stay hard, because NPC and boss hits melt your HP even when fully awakened.
Yes, if you will spend Fragments to awaken it: awakened Buddha gives most moves a large area, good damage and safe travel over water.
