Blue Gear
The Blue Gear is a special progression item required to begin the Race Awakening process. Without it, players cannot access the awakening trials or advance their race beyond its standard version.
Obtainment:
The Blue Gear can only be obtained on Mirage Island at night by locating it and physically touching it. Once collected, the player receives the messages: "You found a weird artifact..." and "You hear a distant chiming from the direction of the ."
Before the Blue Gear can appear, the player must meet several requirements:
Access to the Third Sea.
Completion of the Sealed King Quest.
Defeat rip_indra (True Form).
Have 1 Mirror Fractal.
Reach Race V3.
Unlike older versions of the game, the Blue Gear is no longer limited to a Full Moon. It can now be obtained during any moon phase, as long as it is nighttime on Mirage Island.

Location:
The Blue Gear can spawn at several locations across Mirage Island, and there are likely more spawn points than those commonly documented. Since the island is covered in fog, finding it can be difficult by searching on foot alone. A useful strategy is to use a slow to medium-speed flying ability, such as Awakened Magma's Beast Ride or Love's Flamingo Ride, and search from outside the island. Looking from beyond the fog provides a much clearer view of the island, making it easier to spot the Blue Gear when it spawns.
Additional Information:
The Blue Gear spawns in the same location for everyone on the server, making it easy for teammates to guide each other to its location.
Since Update 20, the Blue Gear continues to glow even with Fast Mode enabled, although the light is less visible.
The player must resonate their Mirror Fractal with the moon before searching, or the Blue Gear will not spawn.
If the player who spawned Mirage Island leaves the server, the island will despawn even if other players are still on it.
Equipping the Pale Scarf is recommended, as Instinct can help locate teammates who have already found the Blue Gear.
It is recommended to disable PvP before heading to Mirage Island, since dying will cause the player to respawn elsewhere instead of on the island.
After obtaining the Blue Gear once, it is permanently saved and does not need to be collected again, even after changing races.
If the Mirror Fractal resonates just before sunrise, it cannot resonate again on the following night while the player remains on the same Mirage Island.
Once the player has obtained the Blue Gear, the Mirror Fractal can no longer resonate, and the Blue Gear will no longer appear for that player.
Using Skull Guitar's M1 attacks can briefly illuminate nearby objects, making it easier to search the island at night or in Sea Danger Level 6.
Using Awakened Buddha's transformation in first-person view brightens the screen, improving visibility during nighttime searches.
It is recommended to start searching for Mirage Island around the middle of the day so there is enough time to prepare before night.
After the Mirror Fractal resonates, using movement accessories such as Pilot Helmet, Hunter Cape (Red, Green, or Black), or Dino Hood can make searching the island faster.
Searching with a team is highly recommended, since everyone can collect the same Blue Gear spawn.
Avoid spawning Mirage Island in Sea Danger Level 6, as the reduced visibility makes locating the Blue Gear much harder.
Since Update 30, the Mirror Fractal can resonate during any moon phase, meaning a Full Moon is no longer required.
