The Ancient One, also known as Red Head Essence, is an NPC found at the bottom of the staircase in the Temple of Time. Players can interact with it to obtain Gears, which are placed into the Ancient Clock to unlock Race V4 abilities.

Location:

The Ancient One is located inside the Temple of Time in the Third Sea. After speaking to the Mysterious Force NPC on top of the Great Tree and pulling the lever, players gain access to the Trial Rooms. The Ancient One can be found at the bottom of the staircase beside the bookshelf, directly beneath the Ancient Clock.

Requirements:

Race V4 Upgrade Requirements

• Trial 1: 3 Race V4 activations.
• Trial 2: 5 Race V4 activations.
• Trial 3: Complete 3 training levels, requiring 5 activations for each level.
• Trial 4: Complete 5 training levels, requiring 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 activations respectively.

Upgrading a Race V4 stage resets the player's current training progress.
