Primordial Reign
The ability that the Draco race earns at V3 is Primordial Reign. Every race unlocks one at V3, and this one is a team buff: a roar that makes you and nearby allies faster and stronger while it slows the enemies around you.
Unlike the other race V3 abilities, it does not come from Arowe. You buy it from the Dragon Wizard.

How do you get Primordial Reign?
You need the Draco race first. Its V3 stage is bought from the Dragon Wizard, not from Arowe, and it brings Primordial Reign with it. The V4 stage is a different unlock, through the awakening puzzle.
How to unlock Primordial Reign
Do these in order, with the Draco race already unlocked.
1. Finish the Horned Man quest
Defeat five bosses one after another. The next tab lists them.
2. Go to the Dragon Wizard
He sends you after the Terrorshark. He only starts the V3 step once the Horned Man quest is done.
3. Defeat a Terrorshark
Your hits must add up to at least 10% damage on it. A Terrorshark is a level 2,000 raid boss. It can show up while you sail the Third Sea once your Sea Danger Level is between 2 and 6. Killing it as another race still counts when you switch back to Draco.
4. Pay the Dragon Wizard
Go back to him and pay 3,000,000 Beli. That is more than the 2,000,000 Beli the other race V3 abilities cost.

How does Primordial Reign look?
A green dragon starts circling you as you roar, with a big orange flash around you. If the roar reaches enemies, an orange dragon circles them too. While it lasts, you glow in orange and purple, flames stream from your back and a heart in the same two colors appears on you.

What are the strengths and weaknesses of Primordial Reign?
Strengths
- It lifts the damage and movement speed of you and your nearby teammates by 15%, which makes it a real team ability.
- Nearby enemies are slowed, and their skills are cancelled if you time the roar well.
- The extra speed helps you dodge, reposition or chase.
- It is good for breaking up enemy combos, especially moves that must be held.
Weaknesses
- Unlocking it takes a long chain: the Draco race, the Horned Man quest, a Terrorshark and 3,000,000 Beli.
- It needs good timing, and an opponent who keeps their distance avoids it.
- It gives no defense.
- In PvP, Human players with V4 Psycho at Tier 2 ignore it.
- A known bug: once your 10 seconds are over, melee Blox Fruit moves deal about 3% less base damage (between 1% and 5%) until you die or switch teams.
Verdict
Best in group fights, where its 15% damage boost reaches your teammates as well as you, and for breaking enemy combos. Weigh the long unlock and the lack of defense before you chase it.
How do you get the most out of Primordial Reign?
- Time the roar against a held move or a combo to cancel it: enemy skills stop for a split second after you roar.
- As Draco V3, use it at the peak of Mirage Island while facing the moon to get the Blue Gear.
