The Race Awakening Puzzle is a progression quest that unlocks Race Awakening (V4). Players must complete a series of requirements, puzzles, and trials, with different steps depending on whether they are awakening a standard race or Draco.

Races

Unlocking Trials

Access to the Third Sea.

Any race at V3.
Complete the Sealed King quest.
Obtain a Mirror Fractal from the Dough King to acquire the Blue Gear on Mirage Island.

Starting Trials

A group of 3 or more players, each using a different V3 (or higher) race.
Complete the Ancient One's training (only required after unlocking V4).
A Full Moon must be active.

Unlocking Trials

Go to the Castle on the Sea and interact with the stone tablet behind the rip_indra (True Form) arena.
Visit the top of the Great Tree and interact with the hidden Mysterious Force NPC to enter the Temple of Time.
Speak to the second NPC inside the Temple, then return to the stone tablet to receive the next clue.
At night, travel to the highest point of Mirage Island with a Mirror Fractal and activate your race ability while facing the moon until the message "Your Mirror Fractal has resonated with the moon." appears.
Find and collect the Blue Gear before night ends.
Return to the Temple of Time, enter the left hallway, and activate the hidden wall lever to permanently unlock the trial system.

Interact with the orb and then the clock to obtain the first awakening gear.
Race Awakening is now unlocked.
Further upgrades require additional trials and training.

Note: The Ancient Clock may occasionally glitch, requiring a rejoin.

A Full Moon is no longer required to resonate on Mirage Island (since Update 19), but it must still be night.
Blue Gear and Mirror Fractal only need to be obtained once per account.
Trials can also be started during a Blue Moon.
Only one player can awaken per trial.
Press Y to activate Race Awakening after filling the transformation meter.
Race Awakening cannot be activated while using another transformation (e.g. Buddha).
After Trial 5, the final gear is placed into the Ancient Clock.
Only one gear can be upgraded to Tier 2 at a time.
Completing Stage 5 unlocks gear swapping through future trials or by re-joining the server.
After unlocking Stage 4, training is optional, but it increases Awakening duration.
Players who are not participating in a trial are removed from the Temple of Time when a trial starts.
