Dragon Wizard
Dragon Wizard
The Dragon Wizard is a Miscellaneous NPC located inside the Dragon Dojo on Hydra Island, Third Sea. He is responsible for teaching Dragon Tether, granting access to the Draco race, and progressing the Draco V3 questline.
Appearance:
The Dragon Wizard wears a red cape, black shirt and pants, a brown and red-striped wizard hat, a long white beard, and has a calm expression.
Usage:
Dragon Tether
Players can learn Dragon Tether by selecting the Dragon Tether option when interacting with the Dragon Wizard.
Requirements:
Obtain the Black Belt from the Dojo Trainer.
Craft the Volcanic Magnet from the Dragon Hunter.
After learning Dragon Tether, players gain the ability to collect Dragon Eggs from the Prehistoric Island after completing the Volcano Event.
Draco Race
After learning Dragon Tether, players must:
Complete the Volcano Event.
Obtain a Dragon Egg from the Prehistoric Island.
Return to the Dragon Wizard and exchange the Dragon Egg for the Draco race.
If the player already has a Dragon Egg in their inventory, they can immediately exchange it for the Draco race without repeating the Volcano Event.
Draco V3 Progression
The Dragon Wizard also guides players through the Draco V3 questline by providing different dialogue based on their progression, including the Freezing Hydra Island event.
Location
The Dragon Wizard is located in the room on the left side of the Dragon Dojo on Hydra Island, in the Third Sea.
Dialogues:
"Young dragon, I only teach students who have finished learning everything this dojo has to offer."
Player has not obtained the Black Belt or crafted the Volcanic Magnet.
"The Draco temple has much knowledge to share with you. A visit to the Prehistoric Island should be very productive for you."
Player has met the Dragon Tether requirements and must obtain a Dragon Egg.
"I don't have anything to teach you right now. Come back when you're a little stronger."
Default dialogue after completing available progression.
"You're not ready yet."
Player has not completed the Horned Man quest required for Draco V3.
"The wind is chilly... I wonder if there's a storm approaching."
Player has Draco V3 but has not frozen Hydra Island.
"Freezing the island was a great idea! We have protection from cold in our dojo, but those venom invaders are vulnerable. We will soon take back our lands thanks to you! During times of such chilling weather, the most loyal Draco soldiers are to be tested."
Displayed after surviving the Leviathan fight during the Freezing Hydra Island event.
"It's freezing outside. You may take shelter inside the dojo until the storm passes."
Displayed if the player died, left the game, or did not participate during the Leviathan fight.
