Water Body
Water Body is what Shark players unlock at V3. For a few seconds it raises your defense against incoming attacks, which makes it the race's way out of a bad combo.
It comes from Arowe once your race is upgraded to V3, after a Sea Beast quest.

How do you get Water Body?
Arowe sits in a hidden room in the Second Sea, under the hill of the Diamond boss. Moving your race up to V3 with him unlocks Water Body. It takes a quest on top of the payment: the table lists his requests, and the last row is the Shark quest.
If you leave the game partway through, the quest progress is wiped and you restart it by talking to Arowe.
A Sea Beast you bring out yourself with Summon Sea Beast is not accepted for the quest. Arowe's entrance is a wall you walk straight into: find the spot behind the tree on the hilltop, lined up with Jeremy's rock and the Factory.

What does Water Body do?
Water Body gives you extra defense for a few seconds. Press T on PC, or up on the D-pad on console, while you are Shark. It triggers instantly like the other V3 abilities, so you can set it off the moment a stun lands.

What Water Body looks like
Small sharks swim out from you when you press the key. While Water Body is on, a blue and black lightning aura surrounds you, a cross of water-like light sits on your torso. A blue heart also shows on the left of your chest.

What are Water Body strengths and weaknesses?
Strengths
- Shuts down incoming attacks: with the extra defense it can ruin an attack or a whole combo aimed at you.
- An answer to stuns: players often use it as a counter to a stun they have just been hit by, such as Pole (2nd Form), to escape it or take less from it.

- Water Body was buffed: it now lasts 5 seconds instead of 4.5.
- Water Body was revamped.
- Water Body was weakened: it now gives 70% defense instead of 80%, and lasts 4.5 seconds instead of 6.5.
- Water Body was added as the Shark V3 ability.
