Lava is an environmental hazard found throughout all three Seas. Touching it deals continuous damage, making it dangerous to cross without a safe route or an ability that avoids contact. Lava is commonly found around volcanic areas, islands, and certain locations where players need to move carefully.

Walking on lava deals continuous damage to any player standing on it. However, several abilities and effects provide complete immunity. Magma users are naturally immune, while players using a Lava Potion can safely cross lava without taking damage. Immunity also applies to players transformed with Venom, Mammoth, Tiger, or Werewolf, as well as players using Awakened Dough's Piercing Clothesline [C] or Scorching Donut [F], allowing them to move across lava safely while those abilities are active.

Location:

Lava can be found in several locations across the game, including Magma Village, the Hot side of Hot and Cold, above the Cursed Ship, and on the volcano during the Volcano Event at Prehistoric Island. It also appears in multiple raids, such as Flame Raids and Magma Raids. However, the lava in Magma Raids is purely visual and does not deal damage, unlike lava found in the open world and most other locations.
