Cursed Dual Katana
Cursed Dual Katana is a Mythical sword known for its strong performance in both PvP and grinding. It combines extremely long range, high damage, and strong M1 attacks, making it a versatile weapon that fits both aggressive combat and efficient farming.
In PvP, the sword offers powerful offensive tools and excels at punishing enemies from a distance. Its long reach makes it especially effective against large targets such as Dragon users, with certain moves being particularly good at pressuring them. However, despite having strong moves, the sword is no longer considered top-tier, as weapons like True Triple Katana and Shark Anchor generally offer better overall performance. A major weakness is that its attacks are easy to Instinct trick and lack true stuns, allowing skilled opponents to dodge and counterattack more easily.
For grinding, Cursed Dual Katana remains one of the strongest swords in the game. Its high-damage M1 attacks pair exceptionally well with Buddha builds, and the lack of a dash in its M1 chain helps maintain consistent positioning while farming groups of enemies. This makes it highly efficient for players focused on fast and reliable PvE progression.

Strengths & Weaknesses
A quick breakdown of where this build shines and struggles.
Strengths
Excellent PvP sword - massive damage and deadly combo potential in skilled hands.
Great for grinding - fast M1s, high damage, AoE, and no annoying forward dash.
Strong crowd control - both skills hit multiple targets and work in Sea Events.
[Z] Revolving Ravager -long stun, strong combo starter, and huge vertical hitbox.
[X] Slayer of Goliath -strong mobility, long reach, and can punish mistakes fast.
Anti-tank utility -partially bypasses Buddha and Dragon defensive buffs
Weaknesses
Hard to obtain -one of the most grind-heavy swords to unlock.
High mastery requirement -takes serious time to fully use.
Instinct-countered easily -both moves can be dodged with good timing.
Predictable -very common sword, so experienced players know how to counter it.
[X] hitbox is narrow -difficult against fast/moving opponents.
Blade immunity issue -useless against Blade users unless using another damage source
Verdict
CDK is a top tier all-round sword with insane damage, combo potential, and grinding value. Its main weakness isn’t raw power it’s predictability. In beginner hands it’s strong; in skilled hands it’s terrifying, but smart opponents can punish careless move usage. Still one of the best swords in the game overall.
