Instinct V2 is an upgraded version of Instinct that improves the player's combat awareness and defensive capabilities. It can only be unlocked in the Third Sea after meeting the required conditions, making it a late-game enhancement for players looking to improve their survivability and reaction-based gameplay.

Obtainment:

Instinct V2 is unlocked through the Hungry Man Quest, a multi-step quest that requires players to meet several late-game requirements. The quest becomes available after reaching 5,000 Instinct EXP on Instinct V1. To begin the unlock process, players must be Level 1800 or higher, have 5,000 EXP on Instinct V1, and own the Musketeer Hat, which requires completing the Citizen's Quest. A payment of $5,000,000 is also required to obtain the upgrade.

Abilities:
Instinct V2 improves the player's combat awareness by providing more detailed information about opponents while active. It allows players to see an enemy’s health, energy, Fruit Meter, level, equipped fighting style, sword, Blox Fruit, gun, and fishing rod. This only shows the opponent’s currently equipped gear and does not reveal their full inventory. The ability also reveals when an opponent is charging a move that can break Instinct, giving players more time to react.

Compared to Instinct V1, Instinct V2 has a larger detection range, allowing players to sense enemies from farther away. It also provides clearer vision with less blur and more brightness while active. Instinct V2 improves dodge recovery by reducing the recharge time by 10 seconds, lowering it from 50 seconds to 40 seconds.

During combat, Instinct V2 increases dash speed by 50%, improving movement for chasing enemies, avoiding attacks, and repositioning. It also makes the icon of a held ability or item appear darker, helping players identify when something is currently being used.
