Energy
Energy

Energy is a core resource in Blox Fruits that controls the use of movement abilities and many combat actions. Players consume energy when performing actions such as dashing, Air Jumping, Flash Stepping, dodging, and using certain abilities. Running out of energy prevents these actions until the bar regenerates.
A player’s maximum energy is determined by their Melee stat, increasing by 5 energy for every Melee stat point invested. The total energy capacity follows the formula 5 × (Melee Stat + 19), meaning higher Melee investment allows players to perform more movement and combat actions before needing to recover.
New players start with 100 energy at Level 1 Melee. The current and maximum energy values are displayed through the blue energy bar located below the health bar on PC and beside it on mobile.
Additional Information:
• Energy regeneration scales with the player’s stats and becomes faster with higher energy capacity. Regeneration is also twice as fast while standing on the ground compared to other situations.
• Dashing consumes 30 energy per use. Players using the Rabbit race only consume 15 energy per dash.
• The maximum energy capacity is 18,180 when using 2,800 Melee stat points, the Kitsune Ribbon accessory, and an awakened race form. Without any accessories or buffs, the maximum energy is 14,095, while the Kitsune Ribbon alone increases it to 16,595.
• Attempting to use an ability without enough energy displays the message "Low energy! [Amount of energy required] energy required." and the ability will not activate.
• Most basic attacks and certain abilities do not consume energy, including normal M1 attacks, Race V3/V4 abilities, Summon Sea Beast, and Admin Abilities. Exceptions include Skull Guitar, Rubber, Dough V2, Phoenix V2 M1, and Diamond M1, which use energy.
• Players can view the energy bars of enemies and other players by using Instinct or Instinct V2.
• The Masterpiece enchantment can remove the energy cost of attacks from the item it is applied to.
• Running out of all energy grants the player the title “Empty Vessel” (#067). The Phoenix X move is considered one of the most efficient ways to drain energy completely.
