Wardens Sword

Warden's Sword is a Rare sword that serves as a solid option for early-game progression. Its long range and low mastery requirements make it easy to use, allowing players to grind efficiently without investing significant time into leveling the weapon.

The sword performs best in the First Sea, where its accessibility and reach help new players deal with enemies comfortably. It is a practical choice for progression and can carry players until they gain access to stronger alternatives.

However, Warden's Sword quickly loses value after reaching the Second Sea. Many weapons available there offer better damage, utility, and overall performance, making it worthwhile to replace the sword as soon as possible.

While effective for early grinding, Warden's Sword is generally considered a temporary progression weapon rather than a long-term investment.

Obtainment:

The Wardens Sword can be obtained by defeating the Chief Warden
in Prison.

Strengths & Weaknesses

A quick breakdown of where this build shines and struggles.

Strengths

  • Good for early-game farming.

  • Low mastery requirements.

  • Easy to upgrade compared to many First Sea swords.

  • Extremely large hitbox on M1 attacks.

  • Both abilities can hit multiple targets.

  • Multi-Target Slash [Z] provides a stun effect.

  • Multi-Target Slash [Z] has decent AoE coverage.

  • Tornado Slash [X] can hit groups of enemies.

  • Tornado Slash [X] also provides a stun effect.

  • Beginner-friendly and easy to use.

Weaknesses

  • Cannot damage Blade-type users.

  • No mobility or movement abilities.

  • Both skills suffer from poor range.

  • Low M1 damage compared to stronger swords.

  • Multi-Target Slash [Z] has very high knockback.

  • Multi-Target Slash [Z] has extremely short range.

  • Tornado Slash [X] also causes significant knockback.

  • Knockback from both moves hurts grinding efficiency by scattering NPCs.

  • Limited PvP potential due to its short range and lack of mobility.

Verdict

Shark Saw is a decent early-game grinding sword but lacks the utility and damage needed to stay relevant for long. Its huge hitbox and stuns are useful, but most players will replace it once stronger options become available.
