Electric

Electric (formerly Electro) is a First Sea fighting style built around lightning-based attacks that emphasize stuns, AoE damage, and crowd control. It offers a balanced mix of offense and utility, making it a solid upgrade from Combat for early progression.

Its attacks deal decent damage and can stun enemies, helping players create openings or prevent opponents from escaping. This makes Electric useful in both early PvP and general PvE combat, especially for players who prefer controlling fights rather than relying purely on raw damage.

A major strength of Electric is that all of its moves have AoE, making it especially beginner-friendly for grinding. Players can group multiple NPCs together and hit them at once, greatly improving farming efficiency compared to single-target fighting styles. Its combination of AoE coverage, stun utility, and accessible gameplay makes it one of the better early game fighting styles.

Strengths & Weaknesses

A quick breakdown of where this build shines and struggles.

Strengths

  • High damage for a V1 fighting style - arguably one of the strongest before advanced styles like Superhuman.

  • Excellent for Buddha users - large hitboxes and stun work very well with Buddha grinding.

  • Good for PvE / farming - all moves can hit multiple enemies and even Sea Beasts.

  • Strong crowd control - Electrical Floor has a long stun and tick damage, making combo extensions easy.

  • Beginner-friendly - simple moveset with decent mobility and easy-to-understand utility.

  • Solid combo support - especially [C] Electrical Floor, which can lock enemies long enough for follow-ups.

Weaknesses

  • Weak in serious PvP - moves are slow, ground-based, and fairly predictable.

  • Slow M1 speed - hurts combo pressure compared to faster styles.

  • Hard-countered by Rubber users - complete elemental disadvantage.

  • Short range overall - requires getting close, which is risky.

  • Punishable on whiff - both [X] and [C] leave you vulnerable if missed.

  • Instinct countered - Electrical Floor becomes much less reliable against skilled players.

Verdict

Electric is one of the best V1 fighting styles for grinding and Buddha users thanks to its high damage and powerful stun, but its slow, predictable moves and poor PvP reliability hold it back. Great for PvE, average for PvP.
