Dragon Talon
Dragon Talon is the upgrade of Dragon Breath: a fighting style whose burning claws and fire dragons echo the Dragon fruit. It is slow and short-ranged but hits hard over a wide area, with the hardest-hitting M1 of any style, so players use it for Raids and Dungeons. It can be upgraded again from Uzoth, and it is one of the five styles Godhuman asks for. Turning screen shake off helps, because its moves distort the screen.

- Three punches with flaming claws that leave a dragon footprint mark, then a dash with a two-handed lunge.

- You set your hand on fire and dash towards the cursor. If you reach an enemy, you grab it, turn the flames blue inside it and kick it away. Hold to dash further.
- Upgraded, a target whose health is low enough for the move to kill gets a finisher: rapid fire punches and a roundhouse kick. The finisher goes through every defensive passive, including the Pain and Ghost ones.
- X
- A tap sends a fire dragon towards the cursor that pulls enemies along while it burns them, and you can steer it with the cursor. It explodes on a surface or at maximum range, and the flames left behind burn.
- The stun is long, but it shrinks the longer the dragon travels. Used on the ground, it keeps the target from dashing or using skills for about 3 seconds.

How do you get Dragon Talon?
Dragon Talon is the upgrade of Dragon Breath. Give Uzoth a Fire Essence, show 400 mastery in Dragon Breath and pay 3,000,000 Beli and 5,000 Fragments. You may hand him the Fire Essence early and buy the style later, and you never need a second one.

What are the best Dragon Talon combos?
Sword main means most of your stat points are in Sword, fruit main means Blox Fruit. An awakened fruit has its V2 upgrade.

Strengths
General
- Big hitboxes and wide areas, high damage and high combo potential.
- Every upgrade only adds to the style.
Talon Lighter (Z)
- Doubles as mobility, and holding it carries you further.
- The upgraded finisher goes through every defensive passive, even the resurrection ones.
Ember Annihilation (X)
- Bends towards enemies when you move the cursor, and drags them along.
- An extremely high stun, up to 3 seconds. The upgraded flight is fast enough to travel on.
Infernal Vortex (C)
- A massive upward hitbox, and the knockback keeps enemies away from you, which defends against combos.
Weaknesses
General
- Hard to obtain and close range, and weak at sea.
- The high knockback flings NPCs and players away, which makes farming hard and lets players escape.
- The fourth M1 pushes you forward, which makes grinding harder.
- Its upgrades cannot be turned off.
Talon Lighter (Z)
- Hits a single target, with no invincibility frames and high knockback.
- Does not suit Buddha: its size and hitbox mean you have to aim down.
- The long finishers let other players steal your kills.
Ember Annihilation (X)
- Quite slow, and very easy to trick with Instinct.
- The upgraded flight does not last long.
Infernal Vortex (C)
- A long start-up, and the screen distortion can annoy some players.
Verdict
Choose Dragon Talon for Raids and Dungeons, where its damage and wide area shine. It is a poor fit for fast duels and for farming normal enemies.

How do you upgrade Dragon Talon?
Dragon Talon can be upgraded once you have 500 mastery in it. Follow these steps in order.
- Reach 500 mastery in Dragon Talon.
- Do the belt quests of the Dojo Trainer in the Dragon Dojo, in order: White (defeat 20 to 30 NPCs), Yellow (defeat 5 sea entities, which also unlocks the Dragon Hunter), Orange (make a trade with another player), Green (spend 5 to 10 minutes at Sea Danger Level 4 to 6) and Blue (pick up a fruit another player dropped, then drop a fruit back to them). He gives three quests every 12 hours, and the Blue Belt unlocks the upgrades.
- Collect Blaze Embers from the Dragon Hunter: choose Hunt to get a random quest on Hydra Island, and every Hydra Enforcer or Venomous Assailant you kill drops one. You need
22 Blaze Embers for all three moves. - Talk to Uzoth and spend the Blaze Embers on each move, as in the table below.
