Dragon Talon

Dragon Talon is a fighting style that can be learned from Uzoth in the Third Sea. As the upgraded version of Dragon Breath, it focuses on high damage, large AoE attacks, and burn effects, making it a powerful choice for PvE content.

The fighting style excels in situations where multiple enemies need to be defeated quickly. Its attacks cover large areas and deal substantial damage, making Dragon Talon particularly effective for Raids, Dungeons, Sea Events, and other group focused activities.

Despite its power, Dragon Talon is generally slower than most other fighting styles. This can make its attacks easier to avoid in fast paced combat and requires better timing to use effectively.

Another notable trait is its heavy screen shake effects, which can make combat feel visually cluttered. Many players choose to disable screen shake for a smoother experience and better visibility during fights.

Dragon Talon is best suited for players looking for high damage, strong AoE, and excellent PvE performance, even if it comes at the cost of speed.

Obtainment:
Dragon Talon can be learned from Uzoth in the Third Sea after meeting several requirements. Players must first obtain and give Fire Essence to Uzoth, which unlocks access to the fighting style.

Then, players need 400 Mastery on Dragon Breath, along with
$3,000,000 and 5,000. Once all requirements are met, Dragon Breath can be upgraded into Dragon Talon.

Strengths & Weaknesses

A quick breakdown of where this build shines and struggles.

Strengths

  • High damage.

  • Big hitboxes and AoE.

  • Great combo potential.

  • All upgrades are useful.

  • Good mobility.

  • Strong stuns, especially on Ember Annihilation [X].

  • Talon Lighter [Z] can be used for movement.

  • Infernal Vortex [C] is easy to land and has a huge vertical hitbox.

  • Excellent for PvP and protecting the Ancient Relic.

Weaknesses

  • Hard to obtain.

  • Weak for Sea Events.

  • High knockback hurts grinding and combos.

  • Fourth M1 dash makes farming awkward.

  • Upgrades cannot be disabled.

  • Talon Lighter [Z] is single-target and hard to hit.

  • Ember Annihilation [X] is slow at mid-range.

  • Infernal Vortex [C] has a long startup.

  • Doesn't work well with Buddha.

Verdict

Dragon Talon is one of the strongest PvP focused fighting styles in Blox Fruits. Its combination of massive stuns, high damage, powerful upgrades, and strong combo potential makes it a dangerous choice for experienced players.

While it struggles somewhat with grinding due to knockback and has limited usefulness in sea content, it more than compensates with exceptional combat performance. The upgraded abilities add meaningful utility without changing the fighting style's core identity, making Dragon Talon consistently powerful from unlock to endgame.
