Skull Guitar (Puzzle)
The Skull Guitar Puzzle is a secret puzzle in the Third Sea that allows players to craft the Skull Guitar. The puzzle consists of several challenges that must be completed in order before the Weird Machine becomes available.
Tip: Visit the Gravestone before starting. If candles are lit around it, you meet the requirements and can begin the puzzle.
Puzzle Walkthrough
Step 1 – Pray at the Gravestone
Travel to the Gravestone at the Haunted Castle.
Pray during a Full Moon at night.
The screen will briefly turn black.
When it returns, the candles around the Gravestone will be lit, indicating the puzzle has begun.
Note: Players below Level 2300 can still receive the dialogue, but the puzzle will not start.
Step 2 – Defeat the Living Zombies
Kill six Living Zombies simultaneously using a single attack.
Recommended Strategy
Use Buddha to gather all six zombies.
Hit each zombie once, then group them together.
Finish them all with a single M1 attack.
Other useful options include:
Light (gather enemies with M1s and finish with V)
Magma (high NPC damage)
Human or Cyborg races for increased damage
Tip: Avoid attacks with heavy knockback, and keep Instinct active to survive while gathering the zombies.
Step 3 – Solve the Grave Signs
Return to the Gravestone.
You will find two rows of signs.
Count the number of graves in each row.
Cross-shaped graves also count.
Do not count the patches of soil.
Press the sign that points toward the row with the most graves.

Step 4 – Speak to the Ghost
Enter the Haunted Castle.
Go to the room on the right side of the staircase.
Speak to the Ghost NPC.
The screen will briefly turn black again, starting the next puzzle.
Step 5 – Solve the Trophy Puzzle
Go to the garden between the main castle and the Soul Reaper room.
Observe or take a screenshot of the trophy arrangement while facing the castle.
Enter the Electrical Room beneath the Haunted Castle.
Go to the Circuit Panel.
Enter the correct pattern based on the trophy handles:
Ignore the trees.
Horizontal handle = Horizontal line.
Vertical handle = Vertical line.
Note: The trophy arrangement is random for every puzzle.

Step 6 – Solve the Tile Puzzle
After completing the circuit puzzle, examine the floor tiles.
Change each tile until its color matches the colored pipes on the walls and ceiling.
If there is no colored pipe, leave that tile unchanged.
When solved correctly, the unknown entity will say:
"Congratulations."
