Yama Puzzle
Completing the Yama puzzle will reward players with Yama, a Legendary sword. The said puzzle has various important steps, and it takes place across multiple locations in the Third Sea.
Requirements
To obtain Yama, players must complete at least 20 Elite Hunter or Player Hunter quests.
20 completed quests → Gives a chance to obtain Yama.
30 completed quests → Guarantees the ability to obtain Yama.
The quests can be mixed.
Example:
15 Elite Hunter quests + 15 Player Hunter quests = 30 completed quests
Puzzle Walkthrough
Step 1 – Complete Elite Hunter / Player Hunter Quests
Players must defeat Elite Pirates or other players through the available hunter quests.
Recommended Method
Elite Hunter quests are generally faster and more consistent compared to Player Hunter quests.
Player Hunter quests can take longer, especially when targeting experienced bounty hunters.
Portal or unlocked teleport locations are highly recommended for faster travel.
Elite Pirate Spawn Locations
Elite Pirates mainly spawn at:
Floating Turtle
Hydra Island
They can also occasionally spawn at:
Great Tree
Port Town
Tips
Server hopping is recommended to complete quests faster.
With an efficient fighting style or sword, completing all 30 quests can take around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Step 2 – Enter the Secret Temple
The Secret Temple is located on Hydra Island in the Third Sea.
To enter:
Travel behind the waterfall on Hydra Island.
Break the gate using a Destructible Physics move.
Examples:
Godhuman [X]
Sharkman Karate [X]
Alternatively:
Use Flash Step to enter through the gate.
Inside the temple:
Defeat the five Ghosts guarding the area.
Approach the Yama sword.
Location
Step 3 – Obtain Yama
Interact with the sword by clicking it four times.
The result depends on whether the player meets the requirements.
If Requirements Are Not Met
Message:
"The sword has rejected you! You're not worthy."
Effect:
The player is instantly killed.
If Requirements Are Met
Message:
"The sword has accepted you as its new owner!"
Effect:
The player obtains the Yama sword.
The Demon Mode (#159) Title is unlocked.
