Rubber Fruit

Rubber is a Rare Natural-type fruit focused on ranged melee through its stretchy body. It costs $750000 or R$1200 and plays around keeping distance while dealing consistent damage.

Its main strength is reach. Extended limb attacks, including long-range M1s, make grinding easier by letting you hit enemies from a safer distance. The [V] Transformation removes attack delay, making moves instant and far more effective in PvP, especially when chaining pressure. The [C] Rush stands out for its high damage, adding strong burst potential.

Rubber also provides key immunities. The user takes no damage from guns, and is unaffected by Lightning fruit and Electric fighting style, giving it a clear edge in those matchups.

The fruit relies heavily on accuracy. Most attacks need proper aim, which becomes a drawback against enemies with ranged attacks, particularly in Upper Skylands.

Strengths & Weaknesses

A quick breakdown of where this build shines and struggles.

Strengths

Normal Form

  • Immunity to Electric, Lightning, and gun damage adds strong defensive value.

  • All moves have AoE, with [X] Smash and [C] Rush providing reliable crowd damage.

  • [C] Rush offers high sustained damage with strong stuns.

  • [Z] Cannon provides decent ranged pressure with knockback.

  • [F] Slingshot enables long-distance movement when used on targets or surfaces.

  • Easy to obtain and simple to understand.

Transformed

  • [V] Transformation significantly boosts speed, damage, range, and overall combo potential.

  • Extremely strong combo synergy, especially with [C] Rush due to long stun and high continuous damage.

  • Faster execution across all moves reduces endlag and improves pressure.

  • M1 (Click) becomes instant and effective for consistent chip damage.

  • [X] Smash gains fast startup, good AoE, and long range.

  • [F] Slingshot becomes a strong engage tool with better player tracking and low knockback.

  • High mobility and unpredictability in fights.

Weaknesses

Normal Form

  • No move can break Instinct, making PvP unreliable.

  • Requires close range to land most abilities despite having stretch attacks.

  • High knockback on [Z] Cannon and [X] Smash disrupts grinding consistency.

  • M1 (Click) has a very small hitbox and consumes energy.

  • [Z] Cannon and [X] Smash have noticeable startup, making them punishable.

  • [C] Rush must be held for full damage and has limited range.

  • [F] Slingshot depends on surfaces or targets and requires charge to be effective.

Transformed

  • Reduced energy regeneration during [V] Transformation limits sustained usage.

  • Small hitboxes across moves require precise aim, especially in PvP.

  • M1 (Click) has cooldown and energy cost, limiting spam.

  • [Z] Cannon has mediocre damage and high knockback, reducing combo value.

  • [C] Rush still needs to be held and has limited range.

  • [F] Slingshot is hard to land on players and requires charge for full effectiveness.

  • Still struggles to reliably hit mobile opponents due to accuracy demands.

Verdict

A skill-based fruit with strong scaling in [V] Transformation, offering high combo potential and sustained damage through [C] Rush, but held back by small hitboxes, lack of Instinct break, and reliance on precise aim.
