The Shadow Dragon is a legendary pet from the Halloween Event (2019) in Adopt Me. It arrived on October 18, 2019, the first day of the event, as a 1,000 Robux pet in the Candy Trading Shop and went off sale when the event ended on November 1, 2019. Today the only way to own one is to trade for it, as a Normal, Neon or Mega Neon, with or without Fly and Ride.

Halloween Event (2019)
Trading is the only way. No shop, egg or event has sold the Shadow Dragon since the Halloween Event (2019) closed on November 1, 2019.
Trade for one on Adopt Me's trading system; Ultra-Rare and Legendary items need the Trade License (at the Safety Hub).

Every Shadow Dragon is the same pet in one of 12 versions: Normal, Neon or Mega Neon, each with no potion, Fly, Ride or both. The buttons in the card at the top of the page show each look.

Normal, Neon and Mega Neon Shadow Dragon
A black, skeletal dragon with two horns, an arched snout, lavender glowing eyes, wide wings and visible spines, plus a partly exposed ribcage with glowing particles and a glowing tongue that shows at night.
The starting point: every other version is made from Normal ones.
Its horns, claws, tongue, inner wings and parts of its spine glow light purple.
Fuse 4 Full Grown Shadow Dragons in the Neon Cave.
It glows in the same places as the Neon, but the colours cycle through the rainbow.
Fuse 4 Luminous Neon Shadow Dragons in the Neon Cave: 16 Normal ones in all. Mega Neon is the last tier.

Shadow Dragon history
- A temporary Shadow Dragon was among that day's Admin Abuse rewards.
- Every player received an untradable, flyable and rideable Mega Neon Shadow Dragon that left inventories after the event.
- The Mega Neon Shadow Dragon's glow, which had cycled only through white and blue, was changed to cycle through the whole rainbow, as the Mega Neon Frost Dragon's was.
- Mega Neon Shadow Dragons could be made for the first time. Their glow cycled between white and blue.
- The event closed and the Shadow Dragon went off sale.
- Added to the Candy Trading Shop for 1,000 Robux on the first day of the Halloween Event (2019).
Pets like the Shadow Dragon
Its winter twin. It uses the same model with a retexture, no exposed ribcage and more back spikes, and was released on December 20, 2019 for 1,000 Robux in the Christmas Event (2019).
The other Legendary dragon of the Halloween Event (2019), sold for 180,000 Candy instead of Robux.
A later Halloween Legendary, sold for 1,000 Robux from October 3, 2025 in the Halloween Event (2025).
All three are retired and can only be traded for, like the Shadow Dragon.
