Hatches from the Retired Egg

The Unicorn is a legendary pet in Adopt Me, added on June 15, 2019 with the Pets update. You can still get one: since July 21, 2022 it hatches only from the Retired Egg, or you can trade for it, as a Normal, Neon or Mega Neon, with or without Fly and Ride.

Quick questions about the Unicorn

Legendary. Each Retired Egg you hatch has a 1.5% chance of giving a Unicorn.
See the value card at the top of this page: pick Normal, Neon or Mega Neon to see what each is worth with no potion, Fly, Ride or both, in Sharks (1 Shark = a Shark with no potion). Values update often, so check the card before you trade. Test a trade in the Adopt Me trade calculator.
Buy a Retired Egg in the VIP room inside the Nursery (it needs the VIP gamepass) and hatch it, or trade for a Unicorn.
No, it is still obtainable. What changed is its eggs: until July 21, 2022 it hatched from the Cracked, Pet and Royal eggs, and now only the Retired Egg gives it.
A Mega Neon Unicorn takes 16 Unicorns; see how Neon and Mega Neon work.
No, they are two different Legendary pets. The Alicorn came out on July 21, 2022 and hatches from the Cracked, Pet and Royal eggs, among others, while the Unicorn hatches from the Retired Egg.

How do you get the Unicorn?

Hatch it from a Retired Egg, or trade for one. No other egg holds the Unicorn any more.

The Retired Egg in Adopt Me

Retired Egg

Hatches from: Retired Egg

  • The Retired Egg's other Legendary pet is the Dragon

See every pet in the Retired Egg.

Hatch math: at 1.5% per hatch, it takes about 67 Retired Eggs on average (about 40,200 Bucks at 600 each). That is an average over many hatches, so luck can bring it sooner or much later.

  • Buy a Retired Egg in the VIP room. It is inside the Nursery, costs 600 Bucks and needs the VIP gamepass (640 Robux). Hatching takes 5 tasks, or pay 35 Robux per egg for the Hatch Now! gamepass to skip them.

  • Trade for a Unicorn or a Retired Egg on Adopt Me's trading system; Ultra-Rare and Legendary items need the Trade License (at the Safety Hub).

All Unicorn variants

Every Unicorn is the same pet in one of 12 versions: Normal, Neon or Mega Neon, each with no potion, Fly, Ride or both. The buttons in the card at the top of the page show each look.
