The Recommended Quest, also called the Compass, helps players find the next quest giver that matches their current level. Instead of searching each island manually, it points you toward the appropriate NPC so you can continue leveling with less downtime. This feature is especially useful for new players and anyone progressing through the seas, as it makes following the intended quest path much easier. It only recommends quests based on your current level, so it is meant for progression rather than locating specific NPCs or optional content.

Function:

The Recommended Quest is designed to make progression easier by guiding players to the correct quest for their current level. It appears on the left side of the screen, where opening it displays the recommended island along with the distance to the appropriate quest giver. Selecting Track activates a compass that points directly toward the matching Quest NPC, making it much easier to navigate between islands and continue leveling without having to search for the correct quest location manually.

Unactivated:
When inactive, the Recommended Quest button appears as a small circular icon with a shiny green background and a dark gray border. At its center is a red and white diamond containing a small lightning bolt, making it easy to recognize on the screen.

Activated:
When activated, the Recommended Quest icon changes into a larger, more decorative semi transparent compass with a spiked design. It displays a green arrow when the player is facing toward the tracked Quest Giver and a red arrow when facing away, making it easy to stay on the correct path while traveling.
