Boat Dealers are essential NPCs that let players purchase boats for fast travel between islands. Since much of the game takes place across the open sea, they are one of the most frequently used services and are important for exploration, quests, Sea Events, and reaching distant locations efficiently.

A Boat Dealer can be found on almost every island, making it easy to replace a destroyed boat or continue traveling without returning to a specific area. The only exceptions are Jean-Luc Island, Cave Island, and Remote Island, where no Boat Dealer is available.

Boat Dealers also play a key role in the first trial of the Tushita Scroll. Interacting with them is required as part of the puzzle that leads to obtaining the Cursed Dual Katana, making them important for progression as well as transportation.
