Kitsune Island

Kitsune Island is a special Sea Event that spawns exclusively in the Third Sea. It is a rare event based location tied to late game exploration and is only encountered while sailing through the Third Sea’s waters.

The following message Appears when it spawns:

"A mysterious shrine has appeared in the sea..."

How to Access:

Requirements

• Sea Danger Level 6

• Full Moon

• Any Boat

Players can spawn Kitsune Island by sailing into Sea Danger Level 6 and waiting for a Full Moon, or by waiting in Danger Level 5 and entering Danger Level 6 once the Full Moon appears.

• The island spawns instantly once conditions are met, followed by a system message.

• Players can also wait on Prehistoric Island, then sail out during a Full Moon to safely spawn the island.

• The boat owner must be on the boat for Kitsune Island to spawn.
  

About Kitsune Shrine:

The Kitsune Shrine is located on Kitsune Island and offers exclusive rewards in exchange for Azure Ember.

Additional Information:

• It is best to hunt Kitsune Island around afternoon or sunset, not early in the day, to avoid triggering other sea events.

• The island usually spawns if Sea Danger Level 6 is entered within ~25 seconds of the Full Moon message appearing.

• Kitsune Island despawns after 15 minutes, but not if all players leave the island.

• The island only spawns if the boat owner is on the boat (they do not need to drive).

• Only one Kitsune Island can spawn per server.

• Collecting Azure Ember is harder during rough sea because lightning can interrupt mobility moves.

• A multiplayer glitch may prevent spawning; a common fix is having only the boat owner near the boat when the Full Moon begins, then letting others join after the island spawns.
