The Moon Egg is a limited legendary egg in Adopt Me that holds 8 pets, from the Common Hopbop to the Legendary Dimension Drifter and Sunglider. It went on sale in the Gumball Machine on February 7, 2025 for 750 Bucks, during the Lunar New Year (2025) event, and left on August 15, 2025, when the Aztec Egg replaced it.

How do you get the Moon Egg?

Hatch it. A Moon Egg needs 5 tasks, or the Hatch Now! gamepass for 35 Robux.
Spot it in a trade. It is a gray egg with craters scattered over its surface.

The Moon Egg was on sale for 189 days, starting a week after the Garden Egg left.
Before
On sale from May 24, 2024 to January 31, 2025 (252 days); the Moon Egg replaced it a week later, on February 7.
After
On sale from August 15, 2025 to February 28, 2026 (197 days); it replaced the Moon Egg, also for 750 Bucks.

- The Moon Egg left the Gumball Machine after 189 days.
- In week two of the Summer Festival (2025), Treasure Keys went on sale and unlocked Treasure Chests, which had a 5.56% chance of giving a Moon Egg. The event ended on August 1, 2025.
- Added to the Gumball Machine in the Nursery for 750 Bucks during the Lunar New Year (2025), replacing the Garden Egg.
- During the second and third weeks of the event the Gumball Machine stood on the Moon, and it was empty in week two.
