Fisherman
Fisherman
The Fisherman is a Miscellaneous NPC found in all three seas. He introduces players to the Fishing system by providing a Fishing Rod and Basic Baits, while also allowing them to manage and sell their catches.
Usage:
The Fisherman provides several fishing-related services.
Gives the player a Fishing Rod and 10 Basic Baits upon their first interaction.
Allows players to check their Job Stats.
Allows players to view their Fishing Index, including fish rarity, largest size caught, and discovered species.
Purchases excess fish from the player's inventory.
Sells 10 Basic Baits for $1,000 (Basic Baits can stack up to 99).
When selling fish, the Fisherman will not purchase:
Favorited fish.
The heaviest fish of each species.
Location
First Sea
In the First Sea, the Fisherman is located on the docks at Frozen Village.
Second Sea
In the Second Sea, the Fisherman is near the Sea Captain at Kingdom of Rose's docks.
Third Sea
In the Third Sea, the Fisherman is at the far right of the docks at Port Town.
Dialogues:
"How's it going, what can I help you with?"
Default interaction.
"...Ah, you look like you haven't gone fishing before! Here, I'll set you up with a Fishing Rod and 10 Bait."
First interaction with the Fisherman.
"I can take any excess fish off your hands. I won't buy any fish that you have favorited or your heaviest fish of each species. Deal?"
Selecting the option to sell fish.
"Hmm... After checking thoroughly, it doesn't look like you have anything that I can buy."
The player has no eligible fish to sell.
"How's it going, what can I help you with?"
Default interaction.
"...Ah, you look like you haven't gone fishing before! Here, I'll set you up with a Fishing Rod and 10 Bait."
First interaction with the Fisherman.
