Permanent Dragon Token was a Premium Usable item introduced in Update 24 as compensation for players who owned the permanent Dragon Fruit before its rework. After the update, affected permanent Dragon Fruits were automatically converted into Permanent Dragon Tokens and added to the player's inventory.

Functionality:

Pre-patch

Before the December 17, 2024 hotfix, the Permanent Dragon Token could be redeemed for one of the following reward options:

• Upgrade: Purchase the new permanent Dragon Fruit at a discounted price of 2,400 Robux instead of 5,000 Robux.

• Fruits: Receive Permanent Dough and Permanent Flame.

• Game Passes: Receive 2x Money, 2x Boss Drops, 2x Mastery, Fast Boats, 3× +1 Fruit Storage, and additional Fragments.

• Swordsman: Receive Dark Blade, 2× Mythical Scrolls, 2× Legendary Scrolls, and additional Fragments.

Post-patch

Following the December 17, 2024 hotfix, owners of the permanent Dragon Fruit were allowed to permanently choose either the Eastern Dragon or Western Dragon at no additional cost. As a result, Permanent Dragon Tokens were removed from the game. Players who instead chose to purchase the new permanent Dragon using the discounted upgrade option consumed their Permanent Dragon Token during the transaction.
