Fish Fights
Fish Fights

Fish Fights were a turn based minigame that let two players battle each other using the fish they had caught. Instead of traditional combat, matches played out as a friendly slap contest between the selected fish, making it a casual side activity focused on fun rather than progression or rewards.
Location:
The Fish Fight arena is located at the Castle on the Sea in the Third Sea. Players can find two arenas: one to the left of the annex, and another behind the central chapel, in front of the Sealed King.
Objective:
Before each match, both players choose one fish from their inventory to battle with. Each player starts with three hearts, and the objective is to reduce the opponent's hearts to zero before losing all of your own. When the feature was available, the winner received 100 Summer Tokens once per hour. This reward refreshed at XX:30 UTC, alongside the game's weekly Summer update reset.
How to Play:
During each turn, players had to time a button press on a moving meter that ranged from red to green. Landing in the green zone increased the chance of landing a successful hit or a critical hit, while pressing outside the optimal area could result in a miss. A normal hit removed half a heart, while a critical hit removed one full heart. As the match progressed and the opponent lost hearts, the meter became faster and the green zone shrank, making accurate timing increasingly difficult and adding more challenge to the later stages of the battle.

Heart Mechanics:
Each player began the match with three hearts, but the final heart followed a unique mechanic that made it harder to finish the battle. A full heart required two normal hits or one critical hit to deplete, while a half heart could be removed with one normal hit. Once the final heart reached its last stage, it became a Quarter Heart, which could only be depleted by landing a critical hit. During this phase, the defending player also had a chance to dodge attacks through the timing meter. As a result, winning a match required a total of five critical hits, rather than simply removing three hearts.
