Skylands

Skylands is a group of floating islands located in the First Sea, known for its unique vertical layout and cloud-based terrain. Unlike most islands, the Skylands begin near sea level and gradually rise high into the sky, with many sections connected by small bridges, allowing players to reach most areas without needing flight.

The first island is a crescent-shaped base island covered in grass and rocks, serving as the starting point of the area. It contains a small lake fed by a waterfall from the upper islands, along with a mini dock housing the Angler, Luxury Boat Dealer, and Boat Dealer. Near the back, players can also find the Mad Scientist, who sells the Electric fighting style.

The second island is the first section elevated above the clouds and marks the transition into the true Skylands. It is home to the Sky Bandits and features a large temple near the back. At the top of the temple stands Yoshi, who sells the Tomoe Ring. Unlike the first island, this area has no grass, giving it a cleaner stone-and-cloud appearance.

The third island is the smallest of the group, consisting of a compact grassy area with six trees, a large flat rock, and four Dark Masters. Despite its size, it serves as an important combat area during progression.

The fourth island contains the most NPCs and acts as the main hub of the Skylands. Players can find the Sky Adventurer, Set Home Point, and Master Sword Dealer here. The island features grassy terrain, trees, paths, and multiple houses, along with a waterfall flowing back down to the first island. It also contains a breakable building with a door that can be destroyed using Dark Blade Z, which hides one of the three Love Letters inside.

How to Access Upper Skylands:

To access Upper Skylands, it is recommended to jump onto the tallest tree near Skylands, then use Air Jump 7–9 times along with dashes to reach the island containing the temple that teleports players there. Alternatively, players can simply use a flight move. Upper Skylands is a much larger area of Skylands.
