Marine Starter is the starting island for players who choose the Marines team in the First Sea. It is also one of the three Safe Zone / non PvP areas in the First Sea, making it a protected starting area for new players. Players who choose the Pirates team instead begin at Pirate Starter.

The island has a multi-level layout designed to gradually introduce new players to basic movement, quests, and combat. A dock at the front leads to the first level, which features a long street. The next level contains a training field where Trainees can be found, along with a quest giver and several houses.

At the back of the island stand three large stone towers with staircases wrapping around them. Each tower has cannons mounted at the top, while the left most tower is marked by a black flag, making it a notable landmark.

The island’s port is medium-sized and located on the southeastern side. It contains two docks, allowing up to two ships to be parked at once.
