Gas Fruit
Gas Fruit is a Mythical Elemental fruit that fills the air with flammable gas and lets you become the Gas Knight. On our value list it trades at 60000000 (demand 9); it costs 2500 Robux, or 3200000 Beli when the Blox Fruit Dealer stocks it. Pick it to grind, hunt Sea Events and clear raids; its transformed form cuts the damage you take by 50%.

What moves does Gas Fruit have?
M1 Suffocating Slashes strings gas-sword cuts into a pull and a knockback blast. Each of the six keys has a normal and a transformed version, and the transformed set runs on the Gas Meter.

Drags enemies in with its third and fourth hits, then ends on a fiery blast that throws them away and leaves black soot on the ground.

How does Gas Fruit transform?
Fill the Gas Meter by damaging NPCs or players, then use V Vapor Condensation, which needs 300 mastery, 50 energy and a 6 s cooldown, to become the Gas Knight. V ends the form again.
Transformed, you cannot use fighting styles, swords or guns until V ends the form. Defense and speed rise, but the Gas Meter drains even when you are idle. That is why the combos below with Dragon Talon, Godhuman and other styles are played in normal form.

Gas Fruit combos
Easy: Demons into burst
- Keys: Smog Demons (Gas C) > Bursting Vapor (Gas X) > Dragon Talon X > Dragon Talon C.
- Needs: Dragon Talon; 200 mastery (C).
- Tip: Gas Fruit's Smog Demons C costs 75 energy and Bursting Vapor X costs 50, so check your energy first.
Easy: Poison, fumes, flight
- Keys: Smog Demons (Gas C) > Bursting Vapor (Gas X) > Suffocating Fumes (Gas Z) > Traveling Gas (Gas F) > Godhuman Z > Godhuman C > Godhuman X.
- Needs: Godhuman; 200 mastery (C).
- Tip: After Traveling Gas F carries you in, turn to face the target before the Godhuman moves.
Easy: Poison, fumes, burst
- Keys: Gravity Blade Z > Smog Demons (Gas C) > Suffocating Fumes (Gas Z) > Bursting Vapor (Gas X) > Sharkman Karate X > Sharkman Karate Z > Sharkman Karate C.
- Needs: Gravity Blade, Sharkman Karate; 200 mastery (C).
- Tip: Keep Melee, Defense and fruit points raised; base Z can knock targets away, so go into X at once.
Easy: Long weapon chain
- Keys: Skull Guitar X > Sanguine Art C > Suffocating Fumes (Gas Z) > Bursting Vapor (Gas X) > Cursed Dual Katana Z > Sanguine Art Z > Smog Demons (Gas C) > Sanguine Art X.
- Needs: Skull Guitar, Sanguine Art, Cursed Dual Katana; 200 mastery (C).
- Tip: Smog Demons C homes in slightly and poisons over time, so cast it before the closing Sanguine Art X.
Easy to medium: Flash step opener
- Keys: (flash step) > Kabucha X > Spikey Trident X > Smog Demons (Gas C) > Bursting Vapor (Gas X) > Dragon Talon X > Dragon Talon C.
- Needs: Kabucha, Spikey Trident, Dragon Talon; 200 mastery (C).
- Tip: Flash step first: press R on PC or use the Flash Step button on mobile, then open with Kabucha X.
Gas Fruit's strengths and weaknesses
Strengths
Default
- Gas Fruit's Elemental Reflex makes players' physical attacks pass through you in either form, unless they are imbued with Aura.
- Z's held cut deals heavy damage to anything in the fumes, and X flings and chokes whoever stands inside its rings.
Transformed
- Standing on water while transformed puts your hitbox above the surface for Sea Beasts, as with Buddha.
- Transformed C Smog Demons has high range, charges slightly faster than the base version and drains Instinct.
Weaknesses
Default
- Base moves lack area and range, with C Smog Demons the only exception.
- Traveling Gas flight is slow with no speed buffs, so crossing between islands drags on.
Transformed
- Time as the Gas Knight is limited by the Gas Meter; the transform section above explains how it drains.
- The Gas Knight's large body is easy to hit, and its particle effects can lag older or weaker devices.
Verdict
Pick it for PvP, grinding and Sea Events, and aim before every transformed M1, because each slash spends Gas Meter. Skip it for island hopping, where Traveling Gas flight is slow, or on devices that lag on particles.

How do you get Gas Fruit?
- Physical fruit (Blox Fruit Dealer): 3200000 Beli or 2500 Robux, only while Gas Fruit is in stock; it restocks every 4 hours. If you eat or buy another fruit, a Beli-bought one is replaced and lost, but a Robux purchase can always be equipped again. Live stock: our Blox Fruits stock page.
- Permanent Gas: 2500 Robux, yours to keep: the Dealer sells it even when the fruit is out of stock, and the Shop menu switches you back to it after you eat another fruit.
- Trading: Trade at the Mansion (Third Sea) or the Cafe (Second Sea). Put a Permanent fruit in your Inventory first; a Permanent fruit you receive activates at once.
- Codes: No code gives Gas Fruit; they pay stat resets, titles, Beli or a timed 2x experience boost.

What changed in Gas Fruit's updates?
Gas Fruit arrived with Update 24 (Dec 14, 2024) and has had two buffs since, in Updates 26.8 and 29.6, plus a wall fix for the transformed Bursting Vapor in Update 29.
- Z gains a 15% larger hitbox, and C deals 30% more damage while charging 30% faster.
- The transformed Bursting Vapor stops at walls and other structures instead of passing through them.
- Gas Meter gain rose 25%, transformed M1 hitboxes grew 15%, and transformed damage reduction rose 7.5 points to 50%.
- Gas debuted as a new fruit in the Dragon Update.
Is Gas Fruit good?
- PvP: Good, with strong combo potential and high damage, though base Z Suffocating Fumes can shove a target out of reach.
- Grinding: Great in normal form, where the M1 string pulls enemies together and damage output stays high.
- Sea Events: Strong: every move hits Sea Beasts, M1 included, which many other fruits' M1s cannot do.
- Raids and bosses: Strong: repeating the M1 string's pull and knockback blast can keep Terrorsharks and the Cake Queen stunned; ordinary bosses and NPCs need a corner.
Yes for most players: it covers PvP, grinding, Sea Events and Raids, and the transformed form adds standing on water.
