The Shark (Corrupted) is a Legendary fishing rod with event based access and a focus on farming Corrupted Fish. It is mainly useful for players who want to collect event resources and fish more efficiently in higher tiers.

Obtainment:

This rod was available during the Summer Expansion events, including the Red King and 50B Celebration. To unlock it, players had to exchange a total of 100 Corrupted Fish for Oni Tokens.

Crafting:

After unlocking it, the Shark (Corrupted) can be crafted by talking to the Oni Fisherman using 500 Oni Tokens.

Additional Information:

Getting this rod does not replace your Shark Rod, so you keep both. While using it, there is a 10% chance to catch Corrupted Fish, making it useful for farming them. If you stand still for 20 seconds while holding it, a corrupted aura appears under your character. This effect stays in place if you move using Flash Step and does not follow you.
