Mercenary are Lv. 725 enemies encountered after reaching the early stages of the Second Sea. They serve as the first enemies in this level range, making them one of the main targets for players progressing through the area's quest line and farming experience to unlock higher-level content.

Mercenaries use a ground-lifting attack that damages players and launches them into the air. While the knockback can briefly interrupt combat, the attack has a noticeable startup and is easy to avoid by staying mobile, making these enemies relatively manageable for most players.

Mercenaries are found in the Kingdom of Rose, close to the Area 1 Quest Giver, making them quick to reach and efficient to farm without much travel between quests.

Quest:

Players can accept the Level 725 quest from the Area 1 Quest Giver, which requires defeating 8 Mercenaries. Completing the quest rewards $10,500 and 9,750,000 EXP, providing a solid source of progression for players entering this part of the Second Sea.

Drops:

Each Mercenary also drops around $550 and 22,500 to 27,500 EXP. They have a chance to drop Scrap Metal and Leather, both of which are useful crafting materials for various upgrades and recipes.
