The Galley Captains are Level 650 enemies found near the end of the First Sea, making them one of the last NPCs players fight before advancing further in the game. They serve as a late game leveling option in this sea and are designed for players who have already progressed through most of the earlier islands.

The Galley Captains fight with a Cutlass and use ranged slashing attacks, making them more dangerous than standard melee enemies by threatening players from a distance. They also have Aura, allowing them to damage Elemental fruit users, so Elemental immunity provides no advantage against them. Staying mobile and avoiding unnecessary hits is more effective than relying on defensive fruit effects.

The Galley Captains are found in Fountain City in the First Sea, spawning on the sloped area near the Galley Pirates. Their location is close to the local quest giver, making it easy to accept quests and return to farming without long travel times.

Quest:

Players can take the quest from the Freezeburg Quest Giver starting at Level 650. The objective is to defeat 9 Galley Captains, rewarding $10,000 and 8,500,000 EXP upon completion.

Drops:

Each Galley Captain also drops Money and EXP when defeated, although the exact amounts are currently unknown.
