The Brutes are Level 45 enemies that serve as the next combat challenge after lower-level opponents. They are intended for players progressing through the early stages of the First Sea and provide a steady source of experience and money while preparing for higher level areas.

Brutes fight using the Iron Mace but rely only on its basic melee attacks instead of its weapon skills. Their biggest threat is a powerful smash attack that can immobilize players for about 4.7 seconds, leaving them vulnerable to follow-up hits. Avoid standing still for long periods, as getting caught by this attack can quickly turn an otherwise easy fight into a dangerous one.

Location:

The Brutes are found behind the house where the Chef spawns in the Pirate Village. Their spawn area is close to the quest giver, making it easy to accept the quest, defeat the required enemies, and return to claim your reward with minimal travel.

Quest:

The Pirate Adventurer offers the Brute quest starting at Level 40. The objective is to defeat 8 Brutes, rewarding $3,500 and 22,000 EXP upon completion.

Drops:

Each Brute drops around $145 and 950 EXP when defeated. They also have a chance to drop Leather and Scrap Metal, making them a useful enemy to farm if you need these common upgrade materials
