The Age-Up Potion is a Rare, non-tradable potion in Adopt Me that ages a pet up by 30 tasks at once. It came out on July 13, 2023, and you can still earn it for free: Full Grown pets give one for every Friendship level, pets give one when they age up, and the free Ice Soup Bait in a Box Lure can drop one.

How do you get the Age-Up Potion?
The Age-Up Potion is free. It shows up in the Food section of your inventory, and three routes work today.
Friendship levels
Once a pet is Full Grown it starts earning Friendship levels, one for every 30 tasks of XP. Each level gives you one Age-Up Potion to use on a pet that is not Full Grown. The bar has no top level.

A pet gives you an Age-Up Potion as a reward when it ages up.

Ice Soup Bait in a Box Lure. Get a Box Lure from the furniture catalog for free and place it in your house. Put Ice Soup Bait inside, which is free in any amount, wait 4 hours and claim the reward. 12.5% of the time it is an Age-Up Potion; most of the time it is 10 to 10,000 Bucks. A Cozy Home Lure works the same way and costs 1,020 Robux.
Shiver Cone Bait, Subzero Popsicle Bait (12% each) and Burnt Bites Bait (10%) used to drop it too. They left the game, so you can only get them by trading.
How do you use the Age-Up Potion?
Step 1
Open your inventory and go to the Food section.
Step 2
Pick the Age-Up Potion and feed it to a pet that is not Full Grown. The game shows two pop-ups before the pet takes it.
Step 3
The pet ages up by 30 tasks right away.
The higher a pet's rarity, the more tasks it needs to age up, so one potion covers less of a Legendary than of a Common. Four Full Grown pets of one type fuse into a Neon, so potions help you reach that point sooner.

Free to earn: the Tiny Age Potion is a pet age-up reward and also comes from two Guide achievements. The Age-Up Potion is explained above.
Trading only: the Sugar Skull Potion cost 60 Robux and the Super Age-Up Potion cost 225 Robux. Both left the game, the Super Age-Up Potion on May 15, 2026.
Aging a pet up gives other potions too, such as the Cure All Potion, which completes all of a baby's or pet's needs.

Age-Up Potion history
Level rewards of the Pony Pass, Sunshine Games Pass, Galactic Pass and Homepass also gave Age-Up Potions while those passes ran.
- For a week after the update, a daily Task Board task gave one.
- Players received a free Age-Up Potion.
- For a limited time, handing a Bone in a Bottle to the Irish Setter NPC had a 5% chance to give one.
- Treasure Chests opened with Treasure Keys could give one.
- In weeks 3 and 4, a Gacha Bot capsule (500 Bucks) had a 5% chance to give one.
- Ice Soup Bait arrived free and in unlimited amounts, with a 12.5% chance of an Age-Up Potion in a Box Lure or Cozy Home Lure. It is the route you can repeat today.
- From week 2 the graveyard gave it, and in weeks 1 and 4 you could buy it for 9 Purple Pumpkins.
- It was a reward for the first completion of each daily obby and for every 12,000 Sundrops collected.
- Burnt Bites Bait arrived, with a 10% chance of one in a Box Lure or Cozy Home Lure.
- Days 3, 9 and 15 gave one. Days 10 and 17 of the 2024 and 2025 Advent Calendars did too.
- The two lures arrived, which later let baits drop Age-Up Potions.
- The Age-Up Potion and Friendship levels were added on the same day.
