The Halloween Event (2026) in Adopt Me began on October 3, 2026 and is set to end on October 31, 2026. It opened four temporary areas around Adoption Island, a Manor, a Hotel, a Crypt and a Carnival, and adds new pets, toys and pet wear week by week. Most of it is bought with Candy Corn, which you earn from the event's minigames, from the Stray Cat NPC and from finishing pet needs.

Stray Cat

Give Stray Cat a food item from your inventory once every in-game day. Potions and non-edible foods are not accepted.

Ghost Gallery

Inside the Manor, from week 1. A new round starts on a repeating 30-minute timer.

You have 150 seconds to score points and beat the boss ghost. Ghosts hide in furniture: tap your screen near a piece to blast it, and let your pet lead you if you are not sure which one. After 75 seconds the small ghosts vanish and the boss comes out of its painting. Its health bar has four sections, and each time you drain one it hides and small ghosts return. Step back just before a ghost attack lands, or you are flung away. The Pro Ghost Blaster hits harder and reaches further.

Crypt

Near the Manor, open at any time from week 1.

Four levels of coffins, each opened with one Crypt Key. Keys come from daily event tasks, from beating the Ghost Gallery boss, from getting far enough in Hauntlet 2 and from finding one in Stitches' Spotlight. One coffin per level hides a ladder down. On level four it leads to the Mummy Spider, and then the Crypt collapses so you can clear it again for more rewards. Coffins can also hold a Lost Sock or Headphones. Crypt Twigs (8), Lost Socks (3), the Lightning Lever (1) and Headphones (1) stop dropping once you have found that many.

Stitches' Spotlight

In the Carnival building, from week 3. A new round starts on a repeating 30-minute timer.

You have 125 seconds to collect as much Candy Corn as you can from the ground while standing around a giant Stitches. Red spotlights sweep the area and take Candy Corn from anyone they catch, so hide behind the target boards. Boosts that widen your pickup range and speed you up appear now and then, and you also have a speed button with a cooldown. The spotlights speed up as the round goes on, and Stitches throws pins that destroy some boards. A Crypt Key can also turn up in the round.

Hauntlet 2: doors, items and floors

You start with three hearts and have 20 seconds to pick a door in each room; run out of time or hearts and your run ends. Rooms 1 to 40 have three doors and rooms 41 to 50 have four. Nothing is harmful in the first room, but from room 2 on at least one door hides a ghost, or several. One ghost costs one heart, two cost two and three cost three. Going in alone gives you bonus items at the start.

Every 10 rooms two elevators appear and you pick one. Each leads to a floor with a different theme and the doors that go with it, and gives you a Heart Potion, Rainbow Wand or Golden Key. A special floor you have already picked cannot come up again in the same round. Every door you open gives 10 XP to your equipped pets, and your first escape from the Hauntlet 2 earns the Escaped Hauntlet, Too Sticker.

During that day's Admin Abuse, Dagi replaced Bolt as the host of Hauntlet 2 and English Sheepdogs replaced the ghosts as the enemies, until October 19. Escaping Hauntlet 2 once in that time earned the Fled Dagi's Takeover Sticker.

The event began during that day's Admin Abuse. The Manor, Hotel, Crypt and Carnival opened around Adoption Island, with Stray Cat, the Ghost Gallery and the Crypt from week 1.
Week 2 added Hauntlet 2, the Poltergeist Box and a second wave of pets, toys and pet wear.
Week 3 added the Stitches' Spotlight minigame, the pets Shoebill, Boohoo, Stitches and Copycat, the Creepy Clown Car and more toys and pet wear.
